GPA

This is the average grade earned at a particular organization by a candidate or student. The grade point average (GPA) is figured by dividing the grade points earned by the number of credits attempted.  A course taken as Pass/Fail may not count towards the GPA.  Commonly A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, etc.
