Grade-Related Definitions
- GPA
- Grade Point Average--the number of Quality Points divided by the Earned hours with
grades that count in the GPA. A course taken as Pass/Fail may not count towards the
GPA. Usually A=4, B=3, C=2, etc.

- Local Credits
- The number of credit hours earned while enrolled at the current organization.
- Local GPA
- The grade point average earned at the current organization.

- Total Credits
- The total number of credit hours you have earned from local and
transfer course work.

- Cumulative GPA
- Your total GPA calculated from local and transfer course work.

- Division
- A division code is used to distinguish the different levels of courses or students.
For example: UG = Undergraduate; GR = Graduate; CE = Continuing Education.

- Credits
- The number of hours earned for each course.

- Points
- Quality Points - the number of Attempted hours multiplied by a Quality Point number
associated with the grade. Usually A=4, B=3, C=2, etc.
